My dog Murphy has enriched and transformed my life completely. Our journey together has brought me so much joy and seen me leave my office job behind to truly embrace my passion for dogs!

I was working in legal policy when baby Murphy came into my life as a whirlwind of energy with uncontrollable hair. I wanted to pave the way for him to live his best life and to unlock his potential. We began our training journey with the local dog club and progressed successfully through all levels of obedience. But... I wanted more and Murphy deserved more. I started listening to as many dog training podcasts and reading as many books and articles as I could get my hands on. My understanding of the dog training world exploded!

I was hooked.

I left my office job and started studying with the National Dog Trainers Federation, volunteering with the RSPCA and my own dog walking and puppy socialising business - Sal Walks Dogs.

Fast forward and I am now the proud holder of a Certificate III in Dog Behaviour and Training and oh so much more than a dog walker. I can work with dogs to build their confidence, increase engagement and focus, get that leash loose (no pulling please), polish up those doggy manners, improve their relationship with their humans, teach new behaviours like obedience or tricks, help puppies reach their potential with development and socialisation and have crazy amounts of fun with a rowdy play session to name but a few.

Long gone are my dreary days in the office. Now I am living my best life spending my days making a real difference to dogs and their humans - how lucky am I?
